Will this winter weather ever stop?!? Mother Nature please find your happy place and be inspired by these clean and simple floral cards. I used the set “Done in love” by Angie Blom and Lisa Ariana.
I’ve colored the pansy’s differently in each card to match the patterned paper. Colored pencils and markers were combined for this look. I will wait to put a sentiment inside until I go to send this out. It would make a great Thankyou or birthday card.
I also added a few sequins for bling. Of course I used my special customer Magnuson stamp for the back again, but you don't need a picture of that three days in a row. I am going to get another custom address stamp for the outside of my envelopes very soon.

First Day of Spring GUI March 20, 2018
Hello Unity Stampers!
Happy Spring, even if you are still blanketed with snow and freezing in 20 degree temperatures as I am in Central NY. Today I have two fun Easter/ Spring cards. The first is a shaker card made with the set”Good Days” designed by Tierra Jackson.
I used the outside from a die cut to make my mint green frame. Stampin up foam adhesive strips are perfect to make shaker cards. I glued the window plastic to the mint green frame and then put the adhesive on the edge of the colored bunny image. I added multi colored sequins and sealed the two together. The double sided foam adhesive strips made this so easy! The image is colored with my favorite colored pencils. For a sentiment inside I used the kit "Everything Easter" by Lisa Arana.
This sentiment kit has basic Easter, spring and religious Easter stamps. It is my go to Easter card making sentiment kit.
I also made a clean and simple sparkly bunny card from the kit "Let's be Happy" by Angie Blom.
A Dark blue base with a layer of silver glitter paper are a great compliment to this sweet bunny image. I used a combination of markers and colored pencils on this card. Please comment below so I can put your name in the drawing to win the prize pack from Unity.

Art Journal Phyllis Harris - GUI Friday
For my final day, I would like to show my love of Phyllis Harris and offer another use for stamping. My Art Journal is nothing more than an inexpensive blank book. When I get a new stamp I ink it in my book to travel with me and color when I'm waiting on my boys. I like colored pencils best.
This is appropriate with Father's Day on Sunday. I also have a few more favorites. My collection of Phyllis Harris stamp kits is over a 100, they have their own storage container. The happy family
pictures and animals just warm my heart.

Brandy and Emma are amazing sets. I have a Black Lab and just love these stamps.
They are just happy puppy love.
I love these too!
Thank you all for visiting my blog.
I will continue to post my stamp classes
If you live in the Central New York area I would love to have you

Father's Day cards GUI Thursday
Happy Thursday
Here is a fun fish card I made for Father's Day. It is clean and simple, but I added wink of Stella to the fish to make it shimmer like real scales on a fish would. I used colored pencils and twine to finish.
At the senior center where I work myself and a few residents put a few more together for the few male residents. I hope they smile as each one is personalized with a special interest. I love sharing stamping and coloring techniques with others.

Happy Flag day GUI Wednesday
Happy flag day!
This fun card is an itty bitty from Unity stamp company. I
Inked it with two colors by hand and decided it is time to
Buy a Misti tool. The stars are aluminum foil cut with a star
Punch. The sentiment is another itty bitty stamp.
A huge thank you to all who currently serve or are veterans.
I appreciate and value the freedom I enjoy because of your service.
I did a second card with another set called Ragged Ol Flag with some friends
At the senior center.
This set is huge and has many stamps. The sentiment is another itty bitty.
These are great summer stamps.

Your own Rainbow GUI Tuesday
Growing up in the 80's rainbows were just a fashion fad. We all had shirts with them. They are just happy to me, the smile after the storm. Today I used the kit "Your own Rainbow" and "imperfect" both by Angie Blom. The back stamp "imperfect" is in the past stamp of the week section.
I stamped the image on water color paper and clear embossed
I used gelato colors to paint with
I free hand painted the colors on the card base. The embellishments are
a thin gold washi tape and a red enamel heart.
I always make more than one image because I like to try different color combinations.
Gelatos are pigment color that can be used straight as paint or combined with
Other products like embossing paste, gesso, etc.
I put them on a clear acrylic block with a little water to use straight.
The perfectly imperfect stamp I used on the back is fun and let's others know
you put some love into making the card.

Growing in Unity Monday/ June library
Hello Unity stamp followers
I am new to the whole blog and link process so be patient with me this week. Today I am featuring
The new June Kit of the Month. I love the clean lines in these kits and have been a subscriber since last September. With my cards today I used the large flower stamp and colored pencils. The center was embellished with a few die cuts to adde dimension. On the card with two flowers, I cut the leaves off the yellow flower and put them back where they fit.
Please comment so I can put you into the drawing to win free Unity stamps at the end of the week!
I apologize for the delay, I was having trouble with the photo.
Happy stamping,
Alyson

Camilus Senior Center card class
April 17, 2017 class
Two pretty greeting cards made with my Senior Center friends.
The floral card is made with a sentiment kit named "Girl Truly" from Unity
stamp company. The image was stamped off the page three times. It
Was colored with colored pencils. The sentiment was stamped on a separate
piece of paper, fussy cut, edged with ink and connected with foam tape for
Extra detail. The butterfly card is from the April KOTM from Unity Stamp
Company. The butterfly was stamped on the card base and on a
Separate white paper. A medallion stamp was used in a light blue for background.
The butterflies were colored alike. The second butterfly was fussy cut to go over the first.
It was shaped to look like it was flying. It was only glued on the body so it has lots of movement.
This is a great card to have ready made in your card stash.
It would be great for many occasions and is best left blank until the card is needed.

This beautiful stamp is Angie's Tree from Unity stamp company.
It is stamped in old olive stampin up ink and colored with colored pencils.
The twine is different on each card. Some is hemp and some is stampin up.
This tree is amazing for any season. A great guy birthday card or a good
Sympathy card for a family. It also looks amazing with embossing powder.
Angie Blom is the artist. I love the lines on this card.
4 by 4 white ceramic tiles with Phyllis Harris stamps by Unity stamp company
Tiles are stamped with Stazon ink and colored with Sharpie markers.
I baked them for 10-15 minutes in a toaster oven set at 250 degrees.
When cooled I sprayed them with clear acrylic sealer and added felt to the back.
Phyllis Harris is one of my favorite artists. I love the children and animals she
draws, they just make me happy. Sets pictured are
Top left Brandy and Emma Goodbye, Top right Always from the Heart,
Bottom left Felt with the heart, bottom right Sheepisly sweet.
All from Unity stamp company.
